This really resonates with me as I learn to “flip the narrative” of my own story. It definitely is an ongoing, sometimes scary process but one that is worth embracing!
Absolutely, Judith. Flipping the narrative isn’t polite or easy—it’s messy, loud, and often terrifying. But every time you grab the pen for yourself, the story starts to feel like yours, not just the one everyone else wrote for you. Keep pushing.
I think that is super important. You literally just identified the feeling you get. Acknowledging that feeling is part of the process! Now give it a name and tell it to hush up when it’s not aligning with what you want 😆❤️❤️❤️🙌🏻
Don’t fight the echo.. let it teach you

Exactly! Naming it is half the battle—then you get to boss it around like it owes you rent 😆🔥 Thanks for saying it so clearly!
Wow. Lots of great stuff in here. Thanks for sharing!
@Mark Willis is an incredible writer! This man should write a movie!
I don’t know many people who haven’t experienced and all of us benefit from understanding it better. Great work. Thank you for writing it
I used to have a “best friend” who would do that for me. I left that friendship.
